I have tried a number of different bags over the years to run with. I started with Camelbak bladder systems when I started training for marathons 20 years ago. I loved having a backpack that would allow for Gu, money, my phone, a snack, etc. However, I just hate cleaning the tubing. I never felt like I was really getting things clean. I then switched to a hydration belt with plastic bottles. Better in many ways but I have a Note 10 Plus so, if I wanted to carry my phone, I needed to take off the case to get it in the main pocket. Plus, it was a squeeze so I would have to jam it in past the zipper and worry about scratching up my device.I finally decided to get back to the backpack design but didn’t want to spend in excess of $100 for a name brand just in case I didn’t like it as much as I recall. Enter the Triwonder Hydration Pack. One of my concerns was the phone pocket in the front of the vest. Would it fit the Note with a case?? I was hoping to avoid putting it in the main pocket of my bag limiting my access to it without taking off the bag. The answer is YES, with room to spare! Overall, the bag is super light, has a number of great storage options and, most importantly, fits me really well. For reference, I am 5’10” / 180 lbs. I went with the plastic non-squeeze bottle option.I am very pleased with this purchase. I will update with how things wear but it appears to be well built and I do not anticipate any issues.
